The duo “As time goes by” plays the world-famous tango, the Astor Piazzolla, composed as a requiem for his late father, in a version for violin and accordion.

The duo “As time goes by” ventures on this classic. The French singer and composer Charles Trenet has managed to achieve incredible international success, he composed the title “La mer” during the Second World War, in 1943, on a 30-minute train ride in occupied France, between Narbonne and Perpignan.

La vie en rose

Thomas Breitsameter (violin) and Janusz Myschur (accordion) are playing the most famous chansons of Edith Piaf in its own and typical version – you will be enchanted!

Ich brech die Herzen der stolzesten Frau’n

This recording was made utilising a straw violin. Such instruments were used for mechanical recordings towards the end of the 19th century. Thomas Breitsameter (stroh violin) and Janusz Myschur (accordion) have recorded some of their tracks on the new CD, utilising this instrument.
